Sharing is caring!
Nothing or no one can determine if we walk and stay on the path of salvation, or on the path of destruction, but us. God is faithful to seek, steer and save those of us who are lost, and those of us who get lost along the way. But the ‘lost’ must acknowledge that they are lost; that they need His help and grace; and be willing to do things His way. For in God’s space our souls, relationships, and ventures will benefit, bloom and beam rays of light and life. We save ourselves by choosing to be honest and humble.
”Then Peter continued preaching for a long time, strongly urging all his listeners, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!”“
Acts of the Apostles 2:40 NLT
I have come to realize that great power is contained in a posture of honesty and humility. They have a way of causing doors of supernatural help to open up at the right time, and getaways of blessing to suddenly show up in our lives. But our natural minds will often work against us, especially when we allow our focus to be mainly on the short-run and on immediate gratification. We cannot afford to forget that life is also about the long run, about leaving a legacy for generations to come, and about how we enter into eternity. We care and save ourselves when we take responsiblity for learning and turning to God.
The Holy Spirit is really who we all need now – for He is God with us and He leads us into ALL truth. As said by Peter in Acts 2: 38 – 39, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away—all who have been called by the Lord our God.”
God is always faithful to play His part, so now it’s up to you to Save Yourself!
Blessings!
