Sharing is caring!
Achievers are those who are committed to conquering their challenges one step at a time. An achiever mindset is one that aligns with continuous improvement; one that understands that confidence is built by persistently taking small courageous steps; one that is willing to make inspired decisions and take purposeful action in spite of fears and uncertainty; one that is committed to pursuing a vision, an identity or state of being that makes their heart smile.
Progress is the mark of success, growth and authentic pride. Life is about making progress. Progress is not a destination but a journey, a journey to endless possibilities.
PERFECTION is God’s jurisdiction while PROGRESSION is ours.
We are designed, equipped and pushed to overcome every obstacle and challenge one after the other. As one of my coaches, Zoey Petrak, says, ‘life happens for you, not to you.’ Achievers know this, that is why they press and invest in their wellbeing despite the temporary pain and fears. They know that the benefits will far outweigh any cost, setback, or learning iteration they go through. Life happens for us and the Universe is the achiever’s ally.
But what are you progressing towards? You tell me. When the mental noise in your head quiets and the calm, soft voice of your spirit is audible, what is it that you really desire for your life? Who do you want to be, and who do you want to be remembered as?
So you are here now, and you desire to be at a better place, how do you make a progressive step? And, how do we overcome our inner resistance and our tendency to self-sabotage our own growth and wellbeing?
Our GPS growth process is very simple but we know too well that simple does not mean easy. Walking the betterment path is rough and it will take focused effort, a willingness to change, inspired action, exchanges and dedication. Here is the thing though – Not walking the path also has its consequences and will produce a multiplied decline in the quality of your life. Remember I said we are pushed to overcome obstacles and grow? There is truly no ‘remaining the same’ we either grow up intentionally or we grow down by default.
“There will always be growth as nothing stays the same. But not all growth is positive. To get to a higher and better place you have to purposefully lead yourself there. If you do not assume captaincy of your life then fate, gravity, and even others will have their way. Your possibilities are too great for you to not choose to grow on Purpose”
So tell me Achiever, what is your next progressive step?
