He Did It For Me

Because He did it for me, He will do it for you, if you truly desire it. My abbreviated testimony below, is your prophesy, so receive it, believe it and achieve it, with the help of the Lord who is God.

About 5 years ago, this time, I had stepped away from my corporate life, in search of something that made more sense to the disgruntled parts of me. It was not as obvious to everyone around me, but I was a mess internally. My whole-being felt tired and I had reached to a place of confusion, conflict and desperation. I knew enough about God to throw my prayer and plea in His direction, but I was not sure if He would even bother to look at me again – for I was the prodi-gal.

But He not only looked at me, He met me where I was. God started showing up in weird ways and it was as if He was shaping everything around me to attend to my dire state and to point my eyes to Him. I did not even know what I needed to be honest, but I was sure I did not want what I had become. What I came to accept was that He was the one with the fail-proof plan so I only needed to learn to submit completely and trust His hand. It was hard to received His love because I did not love myself and I struggled big time with daddy and male issues. But God was patient, persistent and passionate with me. Dont get it wrong, the tough love also came along. Many a break through have come, for there were many things to break and make in me. One of the first hard lessons I had in the School of the Holy Spirit, was about the Father’s love. His unconditional love was the truth and proof that powered the rest of my break throughs.

Has it all been easy? Absolutely not! How can it be when you are going against your own flesh, traditions and other people’s opinions? But His grace has been sufficient and the transformation magnificent. In the year 2023 God showered me with a peculiar joy, and at the end of the year He sealed it with an impartation of Joy. This was major for me because I was one who had a decent smile but I was also one who had deep sadness and knew not happiness nor joy. He knows what we need and when, and He supplies them all with ease.

The process of becoming who He says I am is still ongoing, but let me tell you this – I now have a peace that makes no sense and a freedom I cannot comprehend. I can hear the voice of God and I have a renewed sense of purpose and militancy (yes my stubbornness found its good… lol). I now have some of the greatest gifts in life – joy, peace, sleep, real freedom, spiritual insight, capacity to love without fear, and receive love, and realtime friendship with God. And I know all the other things and all that God has in store, will be added on.

My best ever decision was to die to my self and trust God’s full plan, because now I am truly living and knowing Life Himself!
