“Don’t let money run your life, let money help you run your life better.” John Rampton
Because money is a global means of exchange, it can easily cloud our backend if we mistake it for our utmost fulfillment. Money is a quantifiable power that is impressive, impersonal, convertible and storable. Do not take money lightly or you will blindly promote it from resource to source.
Money is a means to an end, but it also has its own end. Where you find love and obedience to money, you will find evil, selfishness and inner decay. If you pause to do a trace to identify what drives your desire for money, you will likely end up with one or more of these honeys –
1. certainty, security, and peace
2. love, connection and acceptance
3. contribution, significance and purpose
4. joy, contentment, and satisfaction
5. expression, creativity, and inspiration
6. growth, advancement and wellbeing
7. Uncertainty, variety and adventure
“So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 AMP
Allowing yourself to lose sight of what you require and really need, gives money the room to take the spotlight and to confiscate your insight and birthright. Dont allow money to capture your gaze, for your reality will end up as its tricky maze.
Here is how you mind the money maze – shift your focus from money and back to the honey. What you choose to focus on, will become your reality and guiding light.
