With a Word?

Do you realize that everything came into existence by the word of God? He thought it, He said it… and it was so. Even the enemy, who can create nothing original, depends on what God says, to twist, resist and set up his counterfeits. But, anything that does not align with what God says is deception and rebellion. 

We are made in the image and likeness of God, so it means we also create aspects of our reality by our own expressions of thought and belief. Life and death are in the power of the tongue, so from the words we speak and the confessions we make, our lives are being shaped, stormed and steered. The enemy waits to hear what we have to say, for when our words do not align with God’s, he is ready to accuse us and to have a field day. Our words can create, activate and incriminate, so we must be careful about what we agree and say.
