Real Life needs Real Faith

I think you get by now that everything in life is on a spectrum with basically two sides – the real and the fake, good versus evil, of light or of darkness.

Real faith is eternal; it is only from and for the Eternal God. Every other faith source and recipient is finite, forged and de-forming. Faith in the wrong person or thing does not produce real faith. Faith driven by fantasy, lies or fear is not good faith. Faith that does not spur obedience, righteousness, and hope, is dark and deceptive faith. Without true faith we cannot please God nor correct lives at odds.

My definition of real faith is this – the ability and attitude to believe that the Eternal God is supreme, and to agree wholeheartedly with His Word, will and way of life and liberty. Faulty premises lead us to faulty conclusions, so If we do not build on a foundation of Truth, and apply it to our realities, then things will be tricky, risky and made frizzy by the enemy. Unless faith is real, it will not truly improve lives, nations and realities. Real life needs real faith, that will then produce real works of faith.

• Faith can become ‘dead-faith’ if it does not manifest works of faith.
• Works are considered ‘dead-works’ if it does not stem from real faith.

We must be intentional to peruse, choose, and produce what is eternal and true, for that is the only way to avoid disappointment and regret from faith that is dead or untrue.
